Uni Life
I love to understand
other cultures
I'm not bored with my
own
I just desire new ways
of look at the world
To avoid depression
from my thoughts being in a rut
Learning about other
cultures broadens my thinking and allows me to realise there are lots
of ways to look at my life situations
Some of my best
experiences have been at university, playing basketball or talking
about life with my mates from other countries
There are lots of
reasons university is great, but this is one of the main reasons
I also love the peace
and quiet of comtemplating the meaning of life in the library among
the old
dusty books which hold
the wisdom of other minds
The uni life is another
world.
One where time stands
still and thoughts become clear.
Where male and female
young and old
can share in finding
knowledge
which adds to the
knowledge found before
Could there be a better
world?
The late afternoon,
When the campus is
empty.
The afternoon sunlight
is losing power
And all there is a
cigarette a pint of beer and a green lawn
No exams to do, no
careers to ponder, no lectures to run to
Just the thought that
all clear thought have found a place right here beside me
No money worries no
need for friends
Just the facts and
reasoning to make all known
Why we are here and how
we came to be this way
